Transparencia Venezuela (TV) presentó ayer la “Agenda de Transparencia Legislativa”, con 10 compromisos pendientes en el país, en el marco de las competencias de la Asamblea Nacional.
La directora ejecutiva de TV, Mercedes De Freitas, señaló que “de la nueva AN que se elegirá el próximo 26 de septiembre, se espera conocimiento y competencias para aumentar la calidad de la gestión legislativa, compromiso con los derechos humanos, sensibilidad con los problemas de la gente, más lucha contra la corrupción y decisión para trabajar con base en sus principios”.
La agenda contempla: Rendición de cuentas de calidad; sistemas formales de consultas y participación de todo tipo de ciudadanos y organizaciones; garantías de acceso a espacios e información; contraloría de la gestión de los poderes públicos; transparencia y eficiencia presupuestal; plan formal anticorrupción de la AN; aprobación y reformas de leyes.
De Freitas hizo un llamado “a los candidatos de todos los partidos políticos a asumir un compromiso real en la lucha anticorrupción, poniendo los intereses públicos del país por encima de intereses personales o partidistas”.
